Entrance to Mexico
This was our trip to Mexico. I know what you're saying, "You live in Arizona, why do you need to go to Mexico, isn't it the same?" Well, the answer is no! Mexico was a bitter/sweet trip. We had a lot of fun with our friends and the boys played at the beach the entire time. We so miss Florida and the beach. The flip side is, that there are so many people there that have nothing. It truly lets you realize how lucky we all are to live in the United Stated, and how many creature comforts that we all enjoy and take for granted. People in Mexico were held outside if the tourist area where a fence kept them separated from the high-rise condos. They literally built cardboard homes for their families so that they would have easy access to the Americans on the beach and around town to solicit for money. Which brings me to my next point. Everything we did in Mexico was accompanied with a child or adult asking for money or selling some good or product. Next time we go, I will bring money just for them, they need it so bad. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice, but we paid for the dirty water and overall conditions for weeks after our trip.
