After a great season in little league, Ethan was picked for the All-stars team. They had a really great team of boys and one girl who had a lot of fun this year. They lost a close game to a good team from Gilbert. Ethan pitched a 1-hitter and was "in the zone" the entire game. The only good thing about that is a rest from sports for a while, particularly baseball.

This was a fast and furious year for baseball. Emery's team went undefeated (even though they don't keep score, all of the kids know what's going on). Everett had a tough year, broken nose and all, but has become quite the hitter and pitcher. This past Saturday night, Ethan and Todd had their championship game and won. It was an exciting game and year. All stars tryouts start tonight, so we wont get a rest for another month. We will try to get some better photos, none of the night photos from out camera are coming out.

Well, Everett has been doing great in baseball. He has started to catch and has learned the art of pitching from his older brother. He goes through the motions while we are in the store, house, car, etc. Last week he was hit by a pitch in practice from the coaches 12-year-old son. Probably not a good idea to have him pitch to 7 and 8-year-olds. He took a fastball between the eyes and had a swollen nose for a couple of days. Holly said that his nose was broken and we needed to get him to the hospital, but I preferred the baseball way and we rubbed some dirt on it. Long story short, the nose was broken and he had it re-set this morning 4/22/09. Now he looks like Hannibal Lecter and refuses to blink.
